“I PUSHED TILL THE FLAG!”
It was an amazing race, Alessio lead most of 45 minutes of race, fought every single meter and the first position was possible. Alessio Rovera: “I’m happy even if I know it could have been different. When I took the first position I could pull away just a bit, and whatching Cammish and Zamparelli on the mirror give me full confidence I could win the race. But after the safety car they towed and Daniel was quite faster in the corner before Indianapolis.
“So I decided to try all at Arnage Bend knowing that 2nd or 3rd was the same … At the end I was the first driver of the Carrera Cup France anway even finishing third. There was a little space outside, I went, but I couldn’t pass…. Cammish closed perfectly and Zamparelli overtook me. It was a very hard but totally fair battle and we all enjoyed! Thanks to all and I hope to be next year racing the all 24 Hours. “
